Soda Farls |
| The good old Soda Farl is great with a traditional Ulster fry, a wholesome and filling start to your day. |
| Ingredients: |
- 1c All Purpose Flour
- 1c Cake Flour
- 1c Buttermilk
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2 tsp Baking Soda

| How to Cook : |
- Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl and add the buttermilk and stir thoroughly until it reaches a doughy consistency.
- Turn the dough out and onto a rolling board. Flatten into a circle about 9 / 10 in in diameter.
- Using a sharp knife, cut the dough into good-sized slices.
- Take a drop of butter and add to a frying pan.
- Add the slices and fry for about 5 minutes until browned.

Serve with fried bacon, sasuages, eggs, black pudding, white pudding, beans, mushrooms, pancakes and a large mug of tea. salt/pepper to taste and HP brown sauce.
TIP: Get the ol'lady to get up about 30 minutes before you, to have the above ready as your wake up call!!
